Dieses wird 60 % des aktuellen Preises des D-Tickets kosten, also 29,40€ pro Monat, 176,40€ pro Semester und gilt ab diesem Semester als Semesterticket.

Bedeutet für euch: Der vorherige Semesterticketpreis reduziert sich um 4,69 EUR mit dem Zusatz der deutschlandweiten Nutzung.

Auch wenn das Ticket jetzt voll digital ist, solltest du natürlich weiterhin deine StudentCard validieren, da du sie für die Mensa, Rabatte und weiteres benötigst.

Die Aufdrucke der Verkehrsverbünde werden in Zukunft nicht auf die StudentCard gedruckt werden, da das Ticket digital zur Verfügung steht. Jedoch ist eine Validierung für die Mensa oder sonstige Vergünstigungen notwendig.

Nein, dies hängt vom aktuellen Preis des D-Tickets ab. Hier wurden bereits Erhöhungen seitens des RMV angekündigt.

D-Semesterticket for students

We from the AStA-Team, together with other AStAs, have advocated for it, and it's happening next semester: The D-Ticket Semester.

What this means for you: You only pay the semester fees, receive a digital D-Ticket Semester, and can use public transportation throughout Germany.

The upgrade now costs only 60% of the old price. In plain terms, this means that for the summer semester of 2024, you will only pay 29.40 EUR per month. That adds up to just 176.40 EUR for the semester ticket (not the total fees)!

1) Digital Ticket (Standard)

You'll receive your semester ticket here: GermanySemesterTicket

Here's how to access it:

1. Use the link provided.
2. Log in with your HSRM credentials.
3. Select GermanySemesterTicket.
4. Scroll down on the QR code page.
5. Add it to Apple/Google Wallet, Stocard. Alternatively, you can use it in your browser.
6. Always carry an official photo ID when using it.

2) Chip Card (Exceptional Cases)

Attention: The ticket can only be issued in exceptional cases!

For example, if smartphone usage is not possible. The digital ticket will be deactivated upon issuance of the chip card.

Chip Card Instructions:

1. Print the form yourself.
2. Bring the form to the iPunkt (KSR Wiesbaden) and then to the AStA office (KSR Wiesbaden).
3. Take your student ID, form (not older than 2 weeks), and official photo ID to a customer center.
4. The process must be done in person.
5. The chip card will be issued.
6. Always carry an official photo ID when using it.

Documents required for issuance:

Attention: The applicant must personally visit the distribution center.

• Valid student ID
• Official photo ID
• Certificate of enrollment including confirmation for obtaining the semester ticket (not older than 2 weeks)
• Certificate stating that no refund has been requested previously (not older than 2 weeks)

How do I get the ticket?
At the beginning of the semester (April 1st and October 1st), you can access the ticket here: Link
Attention: The ticket is valid from April 1st onwards and not from March 1st as in the past.

How does it work with the Wallet?
You can easily download Apple Wallet / Google Wallet / Stocard from the App Store or Play Store if not already installed. Alternatively, you can retrieve your ticket from the website.

How will the ticket be issued?
Digitally. For use in Google or Apple Wallet. In special cases, the ticket can also be issued as a chip card with significant additional effort. Further information will be provided here no later than the beginning of the semester.

Will the StudentCard still need to be printed in the future?
The prints of the transport associations will not be printed on the StudentCard in the future since the ticket is available digitally. However, validation for the cafeteria or other discounts is necessary.

Will the price remain at 29.40 EUR indefinitely?
No, this depends on the current price of the D-Ticket. Increases have already been announced by the RMV.

I don't have HSRM login credentials, what should I do?
Then please have a chip card issued. The process can be found above.

How will the semester ticket refund process work in the future?

I don't want to install my wallet using Google PlayStore, how do I use the Deutschlandsemesterticket through a wallet-app?

You can install the Stocard APK through web and therefore bypass the Google PlayStore.

Can I have the papers for the chipcard signed in Rüsselsheim?

Currently not, we are trying to get it working at this moment!
